Okay so you weren't technically there for all these adventures, but I kind of feel like you were responsible for them either directly or indirectly.
You have both accomplished so much in your forty years together, but your greatest accomplishments, in my opinion, are your three amazing kids.
When you befriend and Upton child you immediately gain another set of parents, whether they are your second set, your first set, or third, etc. You guys are the parents the push for you to try new things, you are supportive no matter the choices we make, and you only want the best for us.
